Delete your AddStride account

App: AddStride (se.swedtech.addstride), by Swedtech Systems AB.

Delete the account in the app

  1. Open AddStride.
  2. Go to Settings › Account.
  3. Tap "Delete account and cloud data".
  4. Confirm with "Delete".

The account is deleted immediately. You can do this without contacting us and without signing in; the account is tied to the phone you use.

Delete the account in the web planner

  1. Open https://app.addstride.com and sign in.
  2. Open the Account panel.
  3. Choose the delete-account option and confirm.

The web planner and the Android app use the same account when you sign in with the same method, so this deletes the account in both.

Delete the account by e-mail

If you no longer have the phone or the app, send an e-mail to support@addstride.com with the subject "Delete account". Include one of:

  • your AddStride account id (shown in the app under Settings › Account › AddStride account), or
  • the e-mail address you signed in with, in the app (Google or Apple) or in the web planner (Google, Apple or e-mail link), sent from that address.

We delete the account within 7 days and confirm by e-mail. We may ask a question to make sure the request comes from the account owner.

What is deleted

On our servers, immediately:

  • the AddStride account, its device tokens and any Google or Apple sign-in link
  • the AI credit balance and the whole credit history
  • everything in cloud storage: routes, route collections, rides and ride tracks, POIs, trails, assistant conversations and settings
  • pending ad reward codes and stored request metadata
  • any support-issued entitlement override
  • your invite code, your shared route and collection links, your routes and collections in the public route gallery with their ratings and reports, the ratings and reports you gave, the group rides you organised and your place in group rides you joined

Copies in automatic database backups expire within 7 days.

What is kept

  • Records of Google Play orders, subscription periods and rewarded-ad transactions are retained where needed for bookkeeping, refunds, disputes and duplicate-claim prevention. Their AddStride account reference is removed, but transaction identifiers are not necessarily anonymous.
  • Crash reports contain installation identifiers. Firebase begins removing crash data from live and backup systems after 90 days.
  • Firebase Authentication keeps a separate sign-in record that the current in-app deletion does not automatically remove. Email us to request its removal. This does not delete your Google or Apple account.
  • Diagnostic logs have separate retention and may contain account identifiers or provider errors. Include these in an email deletion request; necessary security and legal exceptions may apply.
  • Records of redeemed promo codes, rewarded invites and partner sign-ups are kept without the account id, with one-way hashes of the phone's device key and of the sign-in, so the same offer or invite reward cannot be claimed again after starting over.
  • Copies of your shared, published or group-ride routes that other riders saved are in their own libraries and are not deleted.
  • Entries in our admin audit log (for example credits we granted to the account) keep the account id that no longer exists.
  • Anything stored on your own phone (routes, rides, downloaded maps, settings) is not touched. Uninstall the app to remove it.

Subscription

Deleting the account does not cancel an AddStride Plus subscription. Cancel it in Google Play (Play Store › Payments and subscriptions › Subscriptions) before or after deleting the account, otherwise it renews.

Credits

Deleted credits, including bought credits, cannot be restored. If you want to keep them, do not delete the account; you can instead unlink your sign-in or simply stop using the app.
